Harvest Markets (Private) Limited is Incorporated as Private Limited Liability company under Companies Act No. 7 of 2007 and registered with the Registrar of Companies under PV 00208576 in Sri Lanka.
The Article of Association of Harvest Markets (Private) Limited states that the company is incorporated for the purpose to market and provide investment advice and assist Sri Lankans investing in overseas markets as permitted under the Foreign Exchange Regulations issued under the Foreign Exchange Act No. 12 of 2017.
Harvest Markets act as marketing and sales support service provider in Sri Lanka to the clients of foreign companies (principals). We bring state-of-the-art standard of support services for those clients.
The Harvest group carries international experience for providing marketing and sales support services to the international companies that may provide investment solutions to local clients in Equities, Bonds, Fixed Income services in European, American and fast emerging Asian markets.
The Harvest Group
Harvest Group is quarter-a-century longstanding entity that has been doing business in all major asset classes and in a variety of financial instruments via local electronic exchanges, physical exchanges, OTC markets and online trading terminals through exchange memberships, brokerage setups, network of foreign principals and joint ventures entities.
The group is pioneer in introducing margin trading services in Forex, CFDs and Futures in Pakistan in 1994 through Harvest Topworth International (HTI), a Hong Kong-Pakistan joint venture firm.
In 2006, HTI was once again pioneer when it introduced one of London Stock Exchange company and UK’s leading online trading service firm CMC Markets in Pakistan.
In local financial market, group extended its arm through corporate memberships of Pakistan Stock Exchange and Pakistan Mercantile Exchange for providing equites, commodities and funds distribution services for products traded at exchanges and the funds managed by the leading AMCs.
Harvest group maintained cordial business relations with international companies and foreign principals from United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Indonesia and New Zealand and currently endures business relations in UAE, Sri Lanka and Republic of Vanuatu.

Government of Sri Lanka enacted the Foreign Exchange Act No. 12 of 2017 and regulations issued thereunder which came into effect on 20th November 2017 and in terms of the new Exchange Control Regulations Sri Lankan companies, partnerships and individuals (Resident Persons) are permitted to invest in shares, units, debt securities and sovereign bonds outside Sri Lanka.
Harvest Markets envisaged the importance of this enactment and founded the company to represent some of the world’s top financial sector companies to bring the best products suited in the local market.
Role
Harvest Markets with a setup of marketing and support staff provides information and facilitation services to clients of its foreign principals. In order to provide quality service to clients, the company provides comprehensive training to its staff on financial market products and services being offered in various markets around the globe.
As part of facilitation services, Harvest Markets also maintains high-speed internet facilities desks for the clients in its office, should they like to come and have demo presentation and or hands-on experience from our business premises.
Business Model
Harvest Markets acts as the marketing agent of those foreign companies which are licensed and regulated to offer products and services allowed in Sri Lanka.
